Baby Basics works with midwives, health visitors and other agencies to provide essential items such as equipment, clothing and toiletries to families in need for their babies and young children. Baby Basics also works with community groups around the UK to train and equip them to run similar schemes for their communities.
You need a referral first. Ring them, or ask a support worker, health visitor or Citizens Advice to refer you.
Their website says: If you are a family in need of support, please be aware we work from professional referral only. Please contact your midwife, health visitor, social worker or any other professional working with you and ask them to make a referral on your behalf.
