Baby Basics Kent

Baby Basics Kent provide essential baby items and equipment to struggling families. Operating on a referral system only taking referrals from the professionals working with the families. To ensure that the families of Kent have somewhere safe and warm for baby to sleep, hygiene to keep clean and prams to be able to go out safely.

You need a referral first. Ring them, or ask a support worker, health visitor or Citizens Advice to refer you.

Their website says: We are a referral-only centre, which means that we work with agencies already working with families to provide support. We do not take personal requests for items , please ask your midwife or support worker

Who it's for: Vulnerable families with children up to age 5 (e.g. teenage mums, asylum seekers, those fleeing domestic abuse)
