Clydesdale Food Bank
Clydesdale Food Bank has been operational since March 2013. It was started by the Church of Scotland in Carluke, the Parish Grouping of the three congregations in Carluke in response to awareness of a growing need. The Food bank is run by volunteers who give many hours to collecting, sorting, packing and delivering food as well as taking part in various fund raising activities.
You need a referral first. Ring them, or ask a support worker, health visitor or Citizens Advice to refer you.
Their website says: We cannot supply you with a food package unless you have been referred to us by somebody on the list below. Contacting us directly will slow the process as you will be asked to get a referral.
