“The foodbank was there when we really needed it, it was an absolute lifeline.” We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis.
You need a referral first. Ring them, or ask a support worker, health visitor or Citizens Advice to refer you.
Their website says: A food voucher is required to get help from a food bank. Community organisations such as housing associations, GPs and advice charities can provide a referral for a food voucher, which is then exchanged for a food parcel at our foodbank.
